The "Weissensee-Valley" is one of the most beautiful holiday regions in Carinthia. The lake Weissensee is tranquil, free from pollution and it feels gentle and silky when you dive in - soothing to the soul.
Our Hotel Seeland is situated at the lake´s sunny side, nestling in a fantastic landscape and the mountain scenery, directly at the lake. Our house convinces with its noble ambience and family atmosphere.

Revitalise your energy at the popular Weissensee – „Nature’s Playground“
The lake Weissensee, also known as "Pearl of Nature", provides with its magnificent play of colours an idyllic scenery and offers delightful activities all year round. From bathing pleasure in the lake in the summer, rambling, cycling, long walks to golfing, visiting and retreating to the charming, traditional huts (Hüttenzauber) and much more. The lake becomes Europe´s biggest ice surface in winter, and attracts crowds of ice skaters and cross-country skiers from around the world.
The lake is 930 metres above sea level and extends to 6,5 km² and has a length of 11,6 km.

Apartments & Lofts
The 12 beautiful lofts and apartments are to four-star standard to meet exclusive requirements and captivate with their stylistic yet simple design whilst offering maximum comfort. The high-quality kitchen (inclusive tableware) connects to the large living and dinning area and is separate from the bedroom. The bathroom is equipped with a shower or bathtub. Bathrobes and hair dryer are provided. The toilet is separate in some cases.
Each apartment is equipped with SAT-TV and telephone and all apartments are accessible by lift. Internet (Hot Spots) is located in-house. Our lobby, with selected literature and reading corner, welcomes you to enjoy a glass of wine.
All accommodations have a balcony, which promises first class panorama relaxing. Our own private beach with pier is especially appealing.
Fresh bread rolls are delivered on request by room service between 08.00 and 10.00 o´clock in the morning. Please respect the strict smoking ban in all accommodations.
Apartment House Seeland
Enjoy the freedom of a holiday apartment. Our Apartment House Seeland comprises 5 apartments with room for 2-6 people and is located only 50 metres away from the lake. The rooms are very bright, cosy and offer every comfort. They are equipped with a kitchen (inclusive tableware), towels and bed linen, shower and toilet, telephone and SAT-TV and a balcony that offers a free view onto the lake and the mountains.
A washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the main building. The bathing pier, owned by the Apartment House Seeland, with its sun lounger and parasol is reserved for you. Our guests are welcome to use also the bathing beach at the main building.
Wellness
A "small but smart" wellness area offering Finnish Sauna, Aquaviva, massage, solarium, steam bath and conservatory with direct access to the lake is located in our main building.
Happiness is timeless
The Weissensee-Valley offers many facets, excursion and leisure facilities all year round. The Mediterranean climate with its many hours of sun provides pleasant water temperatures, gets you in a good mood and lets you enjoy long evenings outdoors. The lake freezes over in winter and becomes with an approximatel area of ca. 6,5 km² the biggest ice surface in Europe. Avid ice skaters, walkers and cross-country ski enthusiasts from all over the world come together here. Chair and cable lifts for skiers are also available and are in immediate distance of the hotel.

Prices are per day and per apartment, exclusive visitor´s tax. Dogs are welcome. Charges for final cleaning depend on the actual degree of soiling but a general final cleaning charge of € 35, - applies.
Apartment House Seeland
You find the prices for our Apartment House here.
Prices are per day and apartment, excluding visitor´s tax and final cleaning. Apartments of type B are charged for two people. A charge of € 12, - per day, for each third and/or fourth person is payable. The charge for a fifth person in apartments of type C is € 12,- per day.

We recommend the Hotelstorno Plus travel cancellation insurance, which protects you and your family extensively. We gladly arrange and take out the insurance on your behalf. However, you can take out the insurance yourself over the internet under Travel Cancellation & Travel Discontinuation Insurance.

You will be charged 100% of the booking price in case of early departure and/or late arrival.
